Online Embryo Auction
January 26, 2011

The date has been set for the first online embryo auction at HolsteinPlaza.com.   The online auction will run from February 28 through March 5th.   The auction will begin closing at noon time on March 5th using the popcorn system that will allow all bidders to get there bids in.  The sale will feature embryos from the top cow families in the U.S. and Canada.  You can check Holstein Plaza for updates on embryos selling in the near future.  Make sure you register at www.holsteinplaza.com to be so you can add some top genetics to your breeding program.  

AMS will handle the International movement of the embryos sold in the sale going to breeders from around the World.  AMS has years of experience in delivering embryos to breeding organizations around the World, so you can bid with confidence that the embryos you purchase will get delivered to you. 

The New Year Updates and News
January 1, 2011

As we start the New Year we have updated the mating sire list with some of the sires we are working following the December index run.  We are seeing an increase in the interest for embryos sired by Genomic Young Sires.  We have listed the ones we are working with presently.  We also have an interest in Robust embryos if you have any in inventory or semen to use in flushing. 

The December run gave us some new interesting Donors we are working with.  Be sure to check out the Donor page for some of these new individuals.   They include the high ranking outcross cows Cally and Procky; the number 1 Genomic RC Cow of the breed Darling Rae and many members of the Barbies, Cosmopolitans, and Marabella cow families.  

Breeders let us know what you have in your embryo inventory.  AMS is always looking for interesting embryos for export.   In 2011 AMS Genetics will be holding online embryo auctions in cooperation with Holstein Plaza.  Let us know what embryos you have to sell and what your breeding program needs for embryos and we can help you fill both needs.  If you have not checked out Holstein Plaza yet do so at www.holsteinplaza.com and consider becoming a member of the online marketing site.

Wanted Embryos by Sexed Semen

We are looking for embryos sired by female sexed semen, especially Alexander sexed semen.  If you have embryos in your embryo inventory that are sired by sexed semen give us a call.   The donor dams need to have an CTPI of +1574 or higher.  

Update - The April Index Run

The mating sire section has been updated with the new proof information from this months index run.  

Check out the Donor Section.   It has been updated with a few of the new donors we are working with.  AMS Genetics is excited to be working with the new number 1 CTPI cow Gold-N-Oaks Marabell-ET.  She is a Ramos dtr from a strong cow family that is at the heart of the Gold-N-Oaks breeding program.   Marabell combines a NM$ of +664 with a productive life of +7.3   Check out her photos.  We have also featured the Number 1 RC CTPI cow KHW Goldwyn Aiko-ET *RC.  You will find a soild cow family with high components, production and type.  Aiko is a maternal sister to Advent and Apple-Red!  If your looking to add red this a cow to work with.   AMS Genetics is also working with the next generation of the Cosmopolitan family.    Crimson and her Planet dtrs.  The pictures tell it all.   If you want to infuse your breeding program with genetics like the donors pictured in the donor section let us know we have embryos available from the top families in the U.S.
