Embryos Needed

AMS Genetics is currently seeking embryos sired by the following bulls 
Sexed semen: Alexander, Braxton, Planet, Guthrie, and Brawler
Regular semen: Alexander, Braxton, Planet, Guthrie, Brawler, Ruble, Observer, Manifold, Bronco, Niagra, Yance, Massey, Gillespy, Jay, Gerald,Levi, Altaiota, and Windbrook. 

Additionally the donor cow or heifer must have a CTPI, GTPI, or PTPI greater than 1719 and embryos must be eligible for export.

We are also looking for embryos from daughters of EASTSIDE LEWISDALE GOLD MISSY and HILCROFT LEADER MELANIE

AMS Genetics International hires Bessie Mort

AMS Genetics International LLC has hired Bessie Mort as sales support/export coordinator for their international business of import and export services. In this role, she will coordinate import and export shipping and paperwork including all logistics. In addition, she will assist with the projects and efforts of HolsteinPlaza.com including website updates and the monthly online embryo auctions. Mort will be working out of the Boonsboro, Maryland office.

Mort has over six years experience in logistics, inventory control, accounting and management administration with the United States Army National Guard. Her background as a logistics specialist and training manager coupled with her extreme work ethic and attention to detail make her a very exciting addition to the AMS Genetics International team.

Open Position:

AMS Genetics International has a position available for a dynamic and self-motivated individual who would like to develop his/her skills in the international marketing field of genetics. The successful applicant will be competitive, energetic, enthusiastic and independent with a strong work ethic and must possess an excellent knowledge of dairy cattle breeding. Service minded, exceptional organization skills and an excellent knowledge of Holsteins are the key points of being successful in this job. Applicants should also have outstanding people and phone skills and be computer literate especially in Excel.

The position opening is in the area of sire procurement and service. The new staff member’s main responsibility will be for sourcing, evaluation, purchasing, keeping in contact and servicing our client base and developing bull and live animal side of our business for AMS Genetics International. The new staff member will also assist in other areas of Holstein Plaza and Hotspots Magazine.
